On October 25, 2018, New York City and PKU advocates around the nation came together for an incredible and memorable evening of fundraising at the “Lifting the Limits for PKU” gala.

The event was hosted at the historical New York Athletic Club in New York City, NY. More than 380 guests enjoyed a cocktail reception with silent auction, dinner and program, live auction and a very generous fund-a-need paddle raise.  The program was Emceed by long-term PKU supporter and 60 Minutes Correspondent Scott Pelley, and the Live Auction led by Keith McLane of KLM Auctions.  The evening wasn’t complete without a presentation by doctoral candidate Daelyn Richards, presenting on the Gene Editing and CRISPR-Cas9 technology research project led by Dr. Cary O. Harding of University of Oregon.

The event raised over $600,000 by way of sponsorship, donations, live and silent auctions, and a fund-a need paddle raise.

Thank you to Jennifer O’Neil and her family for hosting this important event to build the NPKUA fund in support of PKU research!

Thank you to all who donated items, money and time to this event!
